Q: Can I find Sock-Locks in stores?
A: In 2009 we began offering LOC-A-SOK Double Sock-Locks wholesale. When stores purchase from us we will list them on our website here.  
Q: How do I order by mail?
A: The best way to order by mail is to use the online shopping cart.  When you have all the items you want in the cart, select the payment method "Check or Money order by mail, then click the button on the left that says "Purchase for $x.xx." and you will be able to fill in the shipping information and then continue to a printable order form you can send with your order. The address where you send the form is on the printable page and is

Q: Can I order by phone or fax?
A: No. We cannot accept orders by phone or fax because we can only accept credit card payments online . If you do not want to pay online, please use our shopping cart to prepare an order form you can mail with a check or money order.
Q: How soon will I receive my order?
A: We cannot guarantee time for shipping.  You can estimate typical time to ship to your zip code from New York City based on our shipping schedule.

We generally ship retail orders once a week on Saturday or Monday and use USPS first class or priority mail for most orders. In November and December, up until Christmas, we often ship twice a week. We prepare orders each Thursday evening for shipping on Saturday or Monday (except during our vacations, which are infrequent and announced on the website).

Wholesale orders are usually shipped the next business day.

How soon your order is prepared for shipping depends on how you pay.  Refer to the table below for specific information about when we process orders based on payment method. Also check our shipping schedule for additional holiday shipping information

Can I buy sock-locks to resell for fundraising?
A: We sell the "Double" sock-locks for fundraising.  See our wholesale page for more information about selling sock-locks for fundraising.
 
Q: I am having problems checking out. What do I do?
A: If you keep getting sent back to the order page...

when you see all the items you want in your shopping cart, look on the lower left for the "Purchase for $XX.00" button.  Click that button to go to the page where you can enter your shipping and billing information, then click "Continue"

A: If page does not load.... try each of the steps listed below. 
  • Close all windows of your browser, reopen the browser, try again.
  • Reboot your computer, try again.
  • Check www.paypal.com for announcements of scheduled maintenance. PayPal processes all of our on-line payments, for members and non-members.
  • Wait 10-15 minutes and try again.
  • If you continue having a problem, contact us. You may also use one of our text form at http://sock-locks.com/order.txt.

Q: How can I order from outside the United States?
A: Orders are now being accepted from outside the United States with payment in U.S. Dollars through Paypal. The purchaser is responsible for all applicable customs and VAT costsFill out our text form and send it to sock-locks@comcast.net so we can calculate shipping. We will then send you an invoice you can pay in US dollars through PayPal. The forms open in a new window. Text Form for Non-US orders

Q: I did not receive my order. What do I do?
A: Common reasons why you may not receive your order.
  • We did not receive your payment
  • You provided an incorrect or incomplete address
  • There was an oversight on our part and your order fell between the proverbial crack.
  • You need to wait a bit longer.  See our shipping schedule.
  • The USPS is being particularly slow, especially in December.

Please wait at least 3 weeks to notify us.  We ship most orders USPS first class and it sometimes takes longer than expected.  It is most helpful if you forward the order confirmation showing the date of your order and the items ordered. Include the shipping address. We generate our shipping labels from the information the customer provides on the order form. 

After you notify us, we will first confirm that we received your payment and check the address to which the order was sent. If the customer provided a complete correct address and the order has not been received three or more weeks after the order was shipped, we will consider the item lost and resend the order at no charge, provided items are in stock. If the customer receives the original package, we expect the customer to return it to us.

GRT Online Promotion, LLC, distributor of Sock-Locks is not responsible for packages that are lost because they are are incorrectly addressed due to customer error. We generate our shipping labels from the information the customer provides us.  If you give us an incorrect or incomplete address (incorrect zip code, missing apartment/suite/office number/name, etc.) we are not responsible. 

If the customer provided an incorrect or incomplete address and the package is returned to us, we will charge the customer the shipping and handling fee each time to re-ship. The customer may place a new order and if the original order is returned to us, we will refund the customer for the cost of the items ordered, less shipping and handling.

If the customer provided an incorrect or incomplete address and the package is lost, we are not responsible.  The customer may place a new order and if the original order is eventually returned to us, we will refund the customer for the cost of the items orders, less shipping and handling.

If you contact us after your order has been placed regarding an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, we will make every effort to correct your information prior to your package being shipped. However, once your package has been processed and shipped, we cannot make address corrections to your package. If your package is re-routed, returned or lost, all policies listed above apply. PLEASE TAKE CARE TO INCLUDE YOUR CORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS.
